The restaurant already had the essential ingredients: established Levantine cuisine, an existing audience, live music, private events and a large hospitality space in Berlin.
What was missing was a system connecting them.
Food, events, entertainment, guest information and social content were communicating simultaneously without one clear hierarchy or consistent identity.
The challenge wasn't simply to make social media look better. It was to answer a larger question: how can we preserve the warmth and cultural character of the Levant while presenting it through a more contemporary, refined and internationally understandable restaurant experience?
ALETRA was brought in to connect strategy, identity, food, content, atmosphere, events, guest experience and growth.
The first step was defining what the restaurant should be known for. We created a clearer hierarchy around three distinct experiences.
DINE — Modern Levantine Dining. Food and hospitality remain the heart of the brand.
CELEBRATE — Private Events. A separate space for weddings, birthdays, engagements, private dinners, family celebrations and corporate occasions.
EXPERIENCE — Live Music & Cultural Events. Music and cultural programming add another dimension to selected evenings without replacing the restaurant experience.
Three offers. One connected brand.
The objective was not to reinvent Levantine cuisine until it became unrecognisable. It was to refine how it is experienced.
We built the direction around five characteristics: rooted, refined, warm, shared, modern.
Fresh ingredients, vibrant herbs, mezze, carefully prepared grilled dishes and generous flavours remain central to the kitchen. But presentation, atmosphere, service and communication bring them into a more contemporary context.
Premium without becoming formal. Cultural without becoming clichéd. Modern without losing its roots.
ALETRA developed a new cinematic direction for the restaurant's digital content. Instead of simply photographing finished dishes, we create short visual stories around preparation, detail, movement, interaction, table and experience.
The content combines food close-ups, elegant preparation, hands, sharing, service, restaurant details, signature drinks, guests, terrace, culture and music.
The objective isn't simply to show what the restaurant serves. It's to make someone imagine being there.
Hummus bel Lahme — a cinematic preparation film built around texture, movement, ingredients and final presentation.
The Art of Fattoush — a fresher, ingredient-driven story focused on colour, preparation and detail.
Eat Hummus — a more contemporary lifestyle direction that takes a familiar Levantine dish outside conventional restaurant advertising.
Instead of communicating Levantine cuisine primarily through meat, fire and abundance, we broadened the visual and verbal language around the kitchen.
The experience celebrates freshness, herbs, vegetables, mezze, fire, citrus, texture and sharing.
Food should feel generous without feeling unnecessarily heavy. The table should feel elevated without becoming intimidating. And hospitality should remain warm rather than formal.

Detail carries the positioning as much as the food does: fresh flowers, clean linen, quiet service.
This philosophy also changed our approach to content. Rather than making every food Reel about flames, skewers and rapid preparation, we focus increasingly on the complete dining experience: detail, presentation, service, table rituals, people and atmosphere.
The restaurant's alcohol-free concept presented an important communication challenge, particularly when positioning the experience for German and international guests. Instead of hiding it, we made the choice intentional.
Alongside the food, the restaurant develops signature drinks that combine contemporary preparation with flavours and aromas connected to the Levant: rose water, cardamom, citrus, herbs and floral notes.
Rather than building the evening around alcohol, the experience centres on food, flavour, sharing, conversation and atmosphere.
The communication therefore shifts from “We don't serve alcohol” to “This is what we drink here.”
Fresh flavours. Shared plates. Signature drinks.

We developed a visual system designed to feel contemporary, editorial and warm. Rather than relying on predictable visual codes associated with premium Middle Eastern hospitality, we removed unnecessary ornament.
No excessive gold. No generic Arabic patterns. No artificial “oriental luxury.”
Instead, cultural identity is expressed through the food, photography, language, music, people and hospitality.

AI is integrated into ALETRA's workflow — not as a replacement for creative direction, but as an intelligence and acceleration layer around it.
Brand & market research — exploring positioning opportunities, hospitality trends, competitors and audience expectations.
Content strategy — developing content territories, creative concepts, hooks and recurring formats before production.
Search intelligence — researching local search behaviour, topics and terminology around Levantine dining, restaurants in Berlin and Tiergarten.
Creative exploration — accelerating early-stage concepts, references and visual directions before human refinement and production.
Multilingual communication — supporting faster development across English, German and Arabic while maintaining one consistent brand direction.
Performance analysis — using content signals to understand what should be repeated, refined or discontinued.
AI supports the process. It doesn't replace the experience. The food is real. The guests are real. The atmosphere is real. The production is real.
Creative direction, composition, cinematography, editing, colour and final brand decisions remain human-led.
Research → Strategy → Creative Direction → Production → Distribution → Data → Optimisation.
AI accelerates the system. Human taste directs it.
We created a broader content architecture around different dimensions of the restaurant: food, people, atmosphere, culture, experiences and information.
This creates a more natural content rhythm — food, feeling, people, culture, experience, food — so the account can communicate frequently without becoming a catalogue of plates or event posters.
Content is also structured around how guests discover restaurants online, across themes including Levantine restaurant Berlin, restaurant Berlin Tiergarten, modern Levantine cuisine, hummus Berlin, mezze Berlin, dinner Tiergarten and live music restaurant Berlin.
Captions, Reel context, alt text, location signals and selected hashtags work together rather than independently. The objective isn't keyword stuffing — it's making strong creative work easier for both people and search systems to understand and discover.
Live music already formed an important part of the restaurant's programme. The challenge was ensuring that entertainment strengthened the experience without making the restaurant look primarily like an event venue.
We repositioned music as an additional layer of selected dining evenings, with consistent communication around weekly programmes, artists, performances, event visuals, live content and guest information.
The restaurant also offers a dedicated space for private events — weddings, birthdays, engagements, family celebrations, private dinners, corporate events and special performances. We separated this offer from everyday dining so both could communicate more clearly, allowing another commercial side of the business to grow without diluting the culinary positioning.

A restaurant brand isn't only what guests see online. It's also how clearly and consistently the restaurant communicates with them.
ALETRA expanded the brand system into reservations, payment information, restaurant policies, event information, weekly programmes, feedback and private-event enquiries. Operational communication became part of the brand rather than an interruption to it.
Good to Know — a permanent branded information system making essential guest information easier to understand and find, within one consistent visual system rather than disconnected Stories. Clear when it needs to be. Warm where it can be.
A Note From You — a multilingual guest-feedback concept. Rather than another corporate customer survey, the system invites guests to share how their experience felt, across English, German and Arabic, covering food, presentation, service and the overall experience. Google review communication was integrated into the wider reputation journey.
The restaurant serves local Berlin guests, international visitors and an Arabic-speaking community, so communication operates across German, English and Arabic. The objective isn't literal translation — it's maintaining the same brand personality across languages: warm, clear, contemporary, human.

The objective isn't simply a better Instagram account. It's a restaurant where every touchpoint tells the same story.
It's what guests see before they visit. What they feel when they arrive. What happens around the table. What they share afterwards. And what makes them remember the place.
